YES, HOWARD DEAN NEED TO GET OUT OF THE WAY AND LET THE REAL PROGRESSIVES TAKE OVER THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY FOR THEY CAN WIN ELECTIONS AGAIN.. HOWARD DEAN IS NOT THE TYPE OF CORPORATE LOBBYIST THAT IS NEEDED IN THE DNC NOW.

Our health care system does not need to grow bigger. Health care consumes 17%-18% of the GDP. If it continues to get bigger, it will bankrupt the other sectors of the economy. Adding more government bureaucracies to handle welfare insurance will only consume more taxed spending. Pharmaceuticals are costing more because drug makers have such large staffs. If importing manufactured goods is not controlled, then why is importing pharmaceuticals? If health care exceeds 25% then the system will collapse. If we continue to collapse manufacturing, and swell health care, then our trade balance will balloon. We will see more and more politicians beholden to overcapitalized foreign interests. The only way we can grow health services industries, is if we expand the clientele to accept international patients.

Yes, the new administration is bringing in the old guard.  The same old guard that created this mess in the first place and opposite to what Trump has been tooting all along in his campaign:  that he would get right of them – drain the swamp.  Well, he's draining the swamp and replacing it by the same exact content, just with a different packaging.  That's what people perceives as being the "change" they hoped for.

TRUMP CAN BRING BACK JOBS TO ALL THOSE STATES.. ALL HE DOES IS TELL THEM THEY WILL NOT HAVE TO PAY ANY TAXES FOR 20 YEARS.. I'M SURE THAT IS HOW TRUMP TALKED CARRIER TO STAY.. IF I OWNED A BIG BUSINESS HERE I WOULD JUST TELL TRUMP I AM MOVING OUT OF THE COUNTRY. THEN TRUMP WILL GIVE US TAX FREE FOR 20 YEARS.. THEN SOME DAY ALL THE BUSINESSES WILL NOT BE PAYING TAXES AND THE ONLY ONES PAYING TAXES IS THE WORKERS.. ONCE THE TAX FREE 20 YEARS IS OVER THEN JUST TELL GOVERNMENT THEY WANT 20 MORE YEARS TAX FREE OR THEY ARE MOVING OUT OF THE COUNTRY.. THEN THEY WILL GET ANOTHER 20 YEARS TAX FREE BECAUSE THEY BLACK MAILED THE GOVERNMENT.. THAT IS THE DIRECTION AMERICA IS MOVING..

I'm really tickled by Joe saying the Dems lost the White working class as if the majority of White Americans (especially the class) haven't been a solidly reliable GOP block for literally decades post Civil Rights. They've BEEN gone. All this hand wringing is hilarious. Sad and predictable. But still hilarious.

President Obama administration didn't do enough policy reform on health care, rising education costs, prison/incarceration reform, climate change, defense, foreign conflict engagement reduction … the list goes on. he was basically a Democratic Neoliberal … so far away from the "Hope and Change" message he ran on as a presidential candidate. it wasn't all Nancy Pelosi's fault, but she is a corporatist tool too.

I grew up in Mississippi and I can tell you that vile political system stayed in power by making sure that blacks and poor whites were enemies when they were natural allies. The same is happening with the political system now. No, Howard Dean, baby boomers don't need to get out of the way, corporate regressive elites like you need to get out of the way and let real progressives take over. Bernie Sanders' positions were supported by well over 60% of the American people and your dog and pony show is not good enough any more. Clinton lost because she promised more of the same which meant that working people would be in a no win situation forever and you don't want to talk about that because you have become a political hack.
