Hi hon thanks for the shout out yes it requires more patience and it needs practice practice practice I’ve been practicing with Polygel since September so I’ve gotten pretty good with it but when I mixed in my cotton candy pink glitter into the white Polygel and clear Polygel and made cotton candy pastel pink it did change the texture a little but it was still pretty pretty easy to work with for me👍🏻

One more thing I only hand file Polygel I don’t drill because it’s a soft if I was more experienced with an e-file I might give that a whirl but hand filing is the way to go with Polygel😘and as far as the white yes I’ve heard that it doesn’t cure as well so what you do is you flip over the nail and cute it from the underside as well

Apparently Sarah didn't have this problem, but has anyone else noticed crazy lifting with polygel? I don't use it, but I get some clients in who have it on from other techs and the amount of lifting with it is ridiculous. Makes me not want to try it.

THANK YOU for saying that Polygel is not superior to acrylics. Polygel has been around forever just like dip nails. But when a company changes packages or a little application technique they come back like some “new better for you service”. Hard gel is superior to Polygel and CND soak off gel was the first to use cool blue to sculpt their product like acrylic. I’d rather have a nail enhancement that holds it shape and strength vs one that is just a new package.

I'm extremely sensitive to dust and I've tried a few dust collectors throughout the years. If your looking into one in the new year I can't recommend the Nova Flair Tifun 2 enough!!! It is hands down the best one I've ever used and experienced!! All the dust get sucked into the vent and there is absolutely no dust on the table or in the air! I'm truly blown away by it!! I had to get a table custom made for it and it is extremely expensive but honestly worth all the money!!! I haven't had any issues with my dust sensitivity sense I started using it unlike other dust collectors I've tried. You should check them out! My favourite piece of equipment I own has made my job so much more enjoyable!!

Awesome experiments and review, thanks for sharing, Sarah!
I had the same issue with white Polygel.
I thought that maybe my lamp is not powerful enough, but it was the same even with Gelish lamp. So now I do 2 thin layers and cure each for 2 minutes. Hopefully, they will fix it soon

Hi Sarah I got certified with polygel white polygel is to be cured for 90 secs and with glitters I don't mix it in the product to break it down I put some top coat on the cured nail Sprinkle the glitter and then add top coat buff then add top coat again for shine

I appreciate your patience with this product. U save me lots of time AND $!
I haven’t decided if I love or hate his product. In 20 years of doing nails, the white poly is the only product I have ever returned. However, I wear full nail of cover pink with No lifting and it’s sooo lightweight! The con: like your client, it loses shape on end, and finally, IT TAKES FOREVER to apply. (For me) 🙂

I was at the Polygel training when it came to NZ and thankfully they covered a lot of the struggles you're going through. I'm glad your prep worked for you without having to change though, it is quite annoying having to use a completely different prep system. With the white, they did say there was no guarantee it would fully cure if you aren't using the right lamp – mostly down to the photoinitiators certain range they react to and if your lamp isn't emitting that then it just wont cure it fully (but their sister companies were fine). The glitter was super pretty! It's consistency does get annoying but its so pretty :3 Would the fact that it takes longer to finish file have more to do with you using more product? With acrylic you've refined everything and only use what you need to so finish filing is quick and easy, but if you're using too much product with polygel, it may just be that it's taking longer to remove the excess product? Just a thought 🙂

I was gonna buy this polygel but honestly Sarah from watching ur reviews and other youtube reviews I don't think I'll bother. I'll stick with my acrylic. Seems like it would only be good for clear overlay. Not impressed with it at all😠

I've used this product several times now and I'm not liking it. I tried applying free hand and made a mess so I decided to use the Dual Forms but they kept breaking off. I'm done with Polygel! Acrylics are much easier to do. Thank you for your tutorial!

Wow now I sure made up my mind about polygel…..i was really planning on splurging but if there is a problem with white curing I am definitely no longer even in any dilemma of purchasing
Thank you for your informational video
    I trully appreciate it!~
