  1. Daily reminder that boomers:
    * Had it better than any generation in history
    * Were raised on home-cooked meals
    * Mom stayed home and gave them attention
    * College was cheap. A fraction of what we pay
    * A degree (in anything) would land you a good job
    * Corporations kept you for decades
    * Stock portfolios and homes increased 4x in value
    * Retirement was considered a human right

    And in return they..
    * presided over the outsourcing of jobs and mass immigration…
    * …leading to the underclass’s opiate-drenched collapse
    * fed us frozen pizza and fruit juice, no cooking
    * hyper-industrialized prison, healthcare, education, housing
    * bought plastic junk and used toxic cleaning supplies
    * triloscan soap, olestra chips, phthalate shampoo
    * prescribed antibiotics liberally, nuking our gut flora
    * gave children Ritalin, Prozac, Wellbutrin, Klonopin…
    * got divorces and bought sports cars
*called us lazy for pointing out that we don't have the opportunities they did

    Thanks boomers!

  2. Here is your daily reminder that spending 5 years as a liberal arts undergrad and 3 years in graduate school getting another liberal arts degree makes you just as qualified as a person who has instead spent those 8 years in prison.

Criminal: Hello judge. I only decided to commit the arson because I heard that a prison sentence will help me get a job after it is all over just as much as a Master's degree in the liberal arts. Could you give me 8 years so that I will be just as qualified for a job as my friends who plan on spending 8 years getting liberal arts degrees?
Judge: That sounds fair. I will sentence you to 8 years in prison and after these 8 years you will receive a master's degree in "being a prisoner."
Criminal: So I identify as a woomie even though I have a thingy in my pants. Can you let me stay in the cell with all the woomies?

  3. Best to develop the practice of dropping jobs after the first day if the job is shit. At least then you won't have to put it on your resume. Millennials have developed a finely tuned bs meter when it comes to corporate jobs. Employers change the pay offer after they advertised higher amount = shit job. Coworkers are control freaks from day one = shit job. Lack of communication between coworkers / bosses = shit job. Little to no training = shit job. People like to talk mad shit on the job = shit job. The list is endless.

  4. I sometimes would feel guilt quitting a job where they give me all this stuff from the company in my first month, to then turn around and say I quit. i feel a lot better quitting a job where they havent given me shit, ( things from the company shirts, vacation request, pens etx.
How can I reframe myself to quit jobs that lie to me but have given me cool things??
should I at least give them 3months of my time instead of 1 month ???

  5. Loved the video man!
You described my exact way of thinking and I can be honest that I have done this before. I can admit Gen X bosses are more with the times, but the baby boomers are still stuck in the 1950's.
I love reading the hilariously, depressed comments the baby boomers leave on the AARP pages through the social media, on how they don't plan on retiring anytime soon and they are so sad and tired. It's comical!

  6. There is so much bullshit in the blue collar trades. My welding instructor told me a story where they were giving him so much bullshit on the job that he would wait until the company had a big project and then quit in the middle of it. The boss would kiss his ass to stay. THAT is the proper relationship between a boss and an employee. Respect is earned and MUTUAL.

  7. Early Gen X is the worst, they have the traits of the Boomers with the cocky, arrogant know it all traits of Gen X. An employer cannot legally bad mouth you on a reference. All they can do is verify employment dates. The main reason to give two weeks is to be rehired and if you care about them and your co-workers. Many employers will not even let you stay two weeks, especially if you're in management or the job involves money or personal info.

  8. Have never been fire from a job. Normally have 2-3 employers and side work.

That way when they get entitled you can just walk away.

As long as you have ability and drive you can make money.
It's those with no options you are forced to take it up the ass…

  9. Fuck the boomers and anyone else who acts like them. They always talk about company loyalty when you tell them you found another ,better paying job, but all that "loyalty" goes out the window as soon as you get accused of sexual harrassment with no proof. Fuck all of them! Ive never given anyone a 2 weeks notice (unless they are a good company) because "at will" employment. If they can fire me without notice, i can quit without notice. Fuck all those service industry jobs and the cuck managers and cunts who run them.

  11. Don't deserve indeed. I was renting a small studio from a boomer, the guy charged an average upfront "maintenance" fee. That's ok, the place was furnished and clean. Here you go. When I was about to move out, he was complaining that I didn't let the apartment pristine clean. Hey old fuckface, will you give my fee money back? No? So you clean it. These entitled old fucks are the wooorse! Should have messed up the place even more.
